Adding Confiri to the invite
The route that works with any ATS, and its one limitation.
Every ATS and calendar can add an attendee. Add your Confiri address to the interview and we read the invite: who the candidate is, when the call is, and where it happens. No OAuth, and it covers every interviewer at once.
Setting it up
- Copy your address from Settings. It looks like interviews+yourtoken@inbound.confiri.com.
- Add it as an attendee on interview invites, or as a default attendee in your ATS interview template.
- Nothing else. Sessions appear on your dashboard as interviews are booked.
This route does not make the check compulsory
We are an attendee, not the organiser, so we cannot change the invite. The candidate still holds the real meeting link and could join without verifying. Your dashboard will tell you how many upcoming interviews are exposed this way. To close it, use your room link as the meeting location as well.
When we will not create a session
If two people on the invite are external, we cannot tell which is the candidate, so we do nothing and record why. Sending a verification request to the wrong person is worse than sending none. The same applies to invites for interviews that have already happened, and to cancellations.
