Privacy Policy

Confiri is an identity verification service for video interviews, operated by Global Talent Leaders LTD (company number 14557865), registered in England and Wales at Summit House, Horsecroft Road, Harlow, Essex, CM19 5BN.

When you use Confiri as a candidate, your employer (the “recruiter”) has engaged us to process your verification. Global Talent Leaders LTD acts as a data processor on behalf of the recruiting company, who is the data controller.

Candidates

• Full name and email address — provided by your recruiter when your interview is scheduled
• Facial image (liveness check) — captured during verification to confirm you are a live person
• Phone number — optionally collected for SMS confirmation
• LinkedIn profile URL — optionally provided to supplement your identity check
• Device information — browser type, operating system, screen resolution
• IP address and approximate location — to detect VPN, proxy, or Tor usage
• Verification timestamp — the exact time you completed each step

Recruiters

• Name and work email address
• Calendar OAuth tokens — to connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook
• Company name and settings

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Confiri captures a facial image during the liveness check. This image is:

• Sent in real time to AWS Rekognition solely to confirm you are a live person
• Not stored permanently after the verification session completes
• Not used to build a biometric database or identify you across other services
• Not compared biometrically against other sessions

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to your data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any right, email privacy@confiri.com. We will respond within 30 days.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We use strictly necessary cookies only: a session cookie to keep recruiters logged in, and a short-lived OAuth state cookie used during calendar connection (expires after 10 minutes). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We protect your data using TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest via Supabase, and role-based access controls. OAuth tokens are stored securely and never exposed client-side.

Some processors are based in the USA. Where we transfer data outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the UK ICO.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify recruiters of material changes by email. The last updated date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
